Partizan suffered first defeat of Slovenia pre-season preps losing to Russian top-tier side Rostov.

In the first half, Partizan had several opportunities but NR Miletic and Markovic failed to score after set-piece play while all Soumah attempts were saved by Rostov keeper.

On the other hand, Rostov was clinical and took the lead on 20 after fine passing game and 18m low shot into the right corner of the net from Mirzov.

Rostov extended the lead two minutes later when Kalachev storned into the box from the right and smashed the ball into the net.

After the break, Partizan had more opportunities to score but Soumah, Djerlek and Ozegovic all failed to score.

Partizan will play fourth friendly of Slovenia summer preps against local side Gorica on Sunday.
