Zemun v Partizan preview

Partizan is away to Zemun on Sunday (5pm CET kick-off) as part of SSL round 4 fixtures.

So far, Partizan played 22 away league games to Zemun, winning 15, drawing 6 and losing one. Gd: 45-18, Partizan.

Left-back Zlatan Sehovic remains sidelined due to injury.

BOSS ZORAN MIRKOVIC ON ZEMUN GAME:

– It`s such a congested fixture list but we simply have to meet the demands. We didn`t start domestic season well and we need to enter each new game fully focused and with desire to win.

Zemun had tough fixtures in the opening three rounds and they won two points. Meanwhile, their boss resigned and assistant coach will take charge of the team for Sunday`s match. They`ll surely try to make the most of us being tired after EL game and the fact that our thoughts might be turned to return leg, But I`ll ask my players to be focused on Zemun match. There`s plenty of time before next Thursday and Nordsjaelland home game.

I`m here for a week and together with my staff we put a lot of hours every day. All my associates are there to inform me of problems we had in a dressing room previously and to help me scan our domestic league opponents. I have to admit, I didn`t know that much about this league before my arrival. Anyhow, we did a lot of scouting regarding our upcoming opponents in the month of August to start with.
