
Upon returning from injury and coming in as a sub for a final 245 mins, Partizan winger/wingback Aleksandar Lutovac scored final of six Partizan goals against Mladost Lucani. We spoke to 25-year old after the game.
You were sidelined for three weeks but scored a goal on your comeback.
“I`m extremely pleased we left the trouble period behind us, played a streak of good games and started scoring lots of goals. All that reminds me of last season a bit, our confidence is back. I am glad to be back and healthy, able to help our coaching team and my teammates. Goals and assists are just a bonus for everything I do personally and everything we do as a team”, said Lutovac.
Number of regulars were rested today. Does this mean boss Petric can count on one truly different line-up?
“We are Partizan and we need to have group of 18 ready at any moment. I`m happy our boss and his staff can count on all of us and pleased to see our youngsters score. It`s a big bonus for all of us and Partizan. We are all Partizan kids and happy about it”.
There`s no time to rest as OGC Nice is coming to Belgrade on Thursday, a very important encounter for Partizan.
“That`s what we wanted at the start of the season, to play two games a week and we have no right to be tired. We are really looking forward to this match, to stand up to each opponent, show what we can do and we hope for a good outcome on Thursday. I`ll also like to call on our fans to support as it really means to us when they are around”, said Aleksandar Lutovac.
