Partizan won Kolubara 2-1 away in a last 32 cup encounter with goals from Nikolic and Djerlek. Youngster Armin Dlerlek spoke to Partizan website after the match:
– Kolubara is one firm team, they were defensively oriented and tried to threaten us via counters. When they scored toward the end it was a bit uncomfortable. I`d like to praise hosts for organization of this game, stands were packed and atmosphere was great, said Djerlek.
After a long time, we saw yourself, Ilic, Ostojic, Urosevic and some other non-regulars fielded from the start.
– Most of the regulars were rested so it was on us to do the job. We got instructions from the boss, did everything as planned and deserved to win.
Two assists from Urosevic today.
– I worked well with Urosevic all the way through today and he assisted really well for me to score.
After a fine derby performance, we now know Partizan can rely on non-regulars as well.
– After that derby performance we got a lot of confidence and belief. I think we are on the right path and I hope there`ll be more good games from us.
