Centre-back Miletic and left-back Miletic chat to Partizan website after Dinamo win

Partizan centre-back NR Miletic played his first official game this season yesterday and assisted to Ozegovic for a Partizan winning goal.

– I think we played one of best first halves in a long time. We were high defensively and kept Dinamo at bay. We also created lots of opportunities, wanted to win and believed we can do it as we deserved it with our overall performance, says centre-back Miletic.

Boss Djukic shuffled the deck quite a lot, making you, Vulicevic, NG Miletic, Jankovic and Ozegovic starters for this one.

– Starting line-up consisted of quite a few players who were regulars last season and it made it kind of easier for all of us. We know each other well, we played many games together and we know each other`s capabilities. I`m sure we`ll play better with each new game.

After lots of missed opportunities, you assisted to Ozegovic for a winning goal on 82.

– After our corner-kick, I was still around the box and got a pass on the right, crossed it and Ozegovic was well-positioned to convert it. Important win this is! Now we move forward and think about game in Lithuania.

Left-back NG Miletic was on hand to comment on Dinamo game as well.

– It was hard to play 90 minutes against tight Dinamo defensive lines. We had great number of chances but we simply couldn`t score earlier on, it would be much easier for us if we did, I`m sure more goals would come as a result. Now we turn to Lithuania game, an important encounter as we won home tie 1-0 only. We are getting ready for it properly and I`m sure we`ll win this tie as I think we are better quality side, says NG Miletic.

Partizan is away to Trakai for a EL round 2 reverse leg on Thursday.
