Conference League: Partizan players on Flora away

Partizan is away to Estonians Flora on Thursday for a Conference League round 5 fixture.

We heard from Partizan players Sasa Zdjelar, Sinisa Sanicanin and Ricardo Gomes two days prior to this encounter.

“This is yet another European game for us. It might prove a group decider and it`s significant match for a club itself. After excellent performance against Vojvodina, we`ll do our best to start another winning streak. As for Flora, they have their forward Sappinen back. He didn`t play in corresponding fixture and we need to take more attention in that regard”, said Sasa Zdjelar.

“We only start our preps for Flora game but we are all informed of their Estonian league stats, which is a boost for them. But, we have a good domestic record, too. All previous Conference League group results need to be put behind. Our desire is to play European competition after the winter break although winning the domestic honours is our main target. We`ll do our best, traditionally”, said Sinisa Sanicanin.

“Surely, Flora will get ready for this game well as they have experience from Belgrade already. Moreover, their weekend`s domestic away win must be a boost for them. We need to enter the game in a calm fashion, focused and without euphoria. That`s the rule number one for all matches, we shouldn`t panic. We need to play in accordance with desires and ideas of our boss and his coaching team. We`ll play our football game and try to bring three points back home. Of course, a lot of it will depend on how Flora will play, how we enter the game and how much Flora allows us to play. Therefore, we need to be brave and focused. We do have certain roster problems but we`ll do our best in Estonia”, said Ricardo Gomes.
