EL play-off: Partizan against Videoton

Partizan will play Hungarian outfit Videoton in EL play-off stage.

Home leg is scheduled for 17^th of Aug followed by a 24^th of August game in Szekesfehervar.

Iliev and Djukic on Videoton draw

Partizan will face Hungarians Videoton in a EL play-off stage, side that features former Partizan players Danko Lazovic and Marko Scepovic along with former Partizan coach Marko Nikolic.

FK Partizan Sports Director Ivica Iliev on EL draw:

– This is a draw I didn`t want for obvious reasons – Marko Nikolic was our coach last season and he knows our team all too well. Moreover, two of our former players are there. I`m sure mayority of our fans didn`t want this draw as well.

We know all about quality of our former coach as well as Lazovic and Scepovic..Videoton is a club with biggest budget in Hungary and always favourite to win the title. But, our tie with Olympiacos gives us right to believe we can through to the group stage. We have enough time to get our team coordinated and I`m optimistic about this.

We want to sign one more player to be more competitive in all three competitions. But, we have a full team for Videoton tie.

Miroslav Djukic:

– Videoton is one serious side, good opponent. But, we are Partizan and we will go out there to win El group stage. Whatever the draw, it was not going to be easy, those are all good teams. Their coach Nikolic know all about us but we`ll get to know all about them very soon as well.
