EL Q2: Partizan v Trakai preview

Partizan is home to Trakai of Lithuania on Thursday (8.30pm kick-off) for a first leg of Europa League round 2 qualifying tie.

TEAM NEWS

Nemanja Nikolic and Bojan Ostojic are long-term absentees now joined by Ognjen Ozegovic and Zoran Tosic who picked up injuries last Sunday.

Boss Miroslav Djukic on Trakai match:

– We scouted Trakai and I can say they are one good side picking up form. With new coach on the helm, they look much better on the field tactically. But, we`ll do everything possible to achieve positive first leg result at home. We have to get ready for 180 minutes of battle and it won`t be easy, for sure.

Midfielder Danilo Pantic:

– We are ready for tomorrow`s game. It`s a two-legged tie and I don`t think full job will be done at home, we need to be at our best to achieve positive result over two games. I`m sure Trakai is ready for this match and I expect them to play defensively. They`ll try to counter-attack us and we need to watch out for it and try to break their defensive lines as soon as possible.
