Partizan boss Srdjan Blagojevic attended latest edition of Partizan Interview show. After Partizan derby draw, achieved late in the game, public and media outlets are full of praise for the new Partizan boss. However, Blagojevic remains firmly on the ground and reveals he finds too much of praise not to his liking.
“Everything that happens after the derby game creates a certain discomfort for me but I try not to be influenced by it, to leave it aside. I think we did nothing spectacular by playing a derby draw. We can make right decisions only if we remain focused solely on our job”, said Blagojevic.
Srdjan Blagojevic is someone who perfects himself with each new day, someone who built his career gradually, achieving success in every club he worked at. He also spoke about how important winning mentality is, for both players and coaches.
“I try to change as if you remain the same you move backwards. As in rowing – if you don`t go forward you are going back. Every game, every video I watch, every book I read, I try to take notes to so I don`t forget things. I also rely on proficiency of older and more experienced people and I feel it helps me in my work”.
The 51-year-old coach said numerous times his coaching team and players have a mission here and now he reveals what it is about.
“It`s easy when you are a fan, coach or player when results are good. It`s in tough times when we really need one another and that`s when you show love – do you really love your club or you are after results. I`ve seen true love for the club among Partizan fans, that`s why I would like to call on them to support us in great numbers on our joint journey. We are all on a mission of preserving Partizan and setting the foundation for a happier club”, said Srdjan Blagojevic.
