Partizan youngster Matija Gocmanac is part of senior team preps in Belek and we wanted to learn more about him.
“I`m a 19-year-old coming from the town of Brus and I`m a goalkeeper. Love for the football game is something I had from the early age and I started training at the age of six”, said Gocmanac.
“My goalkeeping idols are Manuel Neuer and Alisson Becker”.
“I started at FK Kopaonik Brus, moved to OFK Belgrade and soon after I arried to Partizan”.
“We travelled a lot at Partizan youths, mainly to Italy and I`m fond of trophy won at the tournament in Toscana”.
“I learned something new from every coach I worked with, namely Nemanja Jovsic, Djordje Pantic, Darko Bozovic and Hatunic”.
“Senior team preps are very demanding compared to Partizan B. There`s more pace and strength involved compared to Partizan B and Partizan youths”.
“I learned about me joining the preps straight after one game for Partizan B when Nemanja Jovsic called me up, I was quite delighted and shared the news with my family”.
“Being new and young goalkeeper, coaches Petric, Jovsic and Pantic are treating me quite good. I learn things everyday from them and from older teammates in my attempts to advance”.
“I spend most of my time with Vanja Vlahovic and other Partizan youngsters. Senior teammates are there if you need any advice and criticism, if needed”.
“As a goalkeeper, I can say my footwork is good, I also have good work habits and decision-making”.
“My desires at Partizan are to make my debut and to save a penalty-kick in a game against Crvena Zvezda”.
