A number of Partizan youths joined pre-season summer preps. Left-back Zlatan Sehovic is one of them.
– My name is Zlatan Sehovic. I was born on 8th of August 2000 in Belgrade and I`m Partizan kid. I started training as a five-year-old and I moved to Partizan age 9. Watching football stars on TV made me go out and play footie with my mates and when I started training I played as a left-back from the day one. I was never really into other sports as I believe football is the best and I never had a second thought. I made my early football steps at Alijansa youth school and I learned a lot from coaches Relja and Marko Reljic, my first coaches to whom I`d like to thank for everything they did for me.
I arrived to Partizan as a nine-year-old and trained under guidance of coach Milan Ristic who coached me at Teleoptik as well. I graduated from Partizan academy winning three titles with Partizan youths. I had a great time and I dream of senior title now.
I had two injuries so far and I was sidelined two to three months on both occasions. I found it hard but that`s behind me now. I don`t think about it now, I just want to do my job on and off the field.
My favourite player is Real Madrid`s Marcelo. He plays as a left-back and I try to watch him play as often as I can and learn some stuff. He is my favourite because he`s great both defensively and attacking-wise, his crossing and of the game is excellent. All that together is hard when you play as a left-back, so he`s my football star.
I spend most of my time with teammates Markovic and Kokir. We graduated from Partizan youths together and we are best mates as well. We understand each other on and off the pitch, spending most of the time together. In my time-off, I watch football games and learn things. I also love to read books. I go to town with Kokir and Markovic for a walk, it`s important you use your time-off with right people and make sure you have a quality time.
I`m third year of School for Tourism and Hospitality. I`m part-time now due to football duties and I`d like to thank my professors and principal for their understanding and help overall.
My best performance was the one against Vojvodina last season when I scored two goals for a Partizan win. I also scored a brace in a 2-1 win against Novi Pazar and in a 2-2 draw against Radnicki Kragujevac. But, there are many other great games I think I played well.
My youth coach, now first team coach assistant, Zarko Lazetic, informed me about pre-season preps call-up and I phoned my family straight away. It was incredible feeling for all of us because you train and live for it all these years, so I couldn`t wait to join in and start training. Early days with the seniors are phenomenal. Experienced teammates reception was great and I learned a lot after just three days of training with them. It`s a great pleasure for me to be able to train next to Sasa ilic, Tosic or Vulicevic, they are all brilliant players and people.
I`m informed about all Partizan teams in all sports, as I love this club. I watched live all FK Partizan home games, that`s the part of my upbringing.
Derby is the biggest and most beautiful game of all. I played many youth derbies and one that is stuck in my memory is a 4-0 win or a title decider we won 2-1. I dream of playing first team derby in front of packed stands.
I would love to stay in Partizan as long as possible, to win a double and reach CL. This club deserves it all and there are high ambitions for each upcoming season.
