After additional medical checks, therapy and consultations with orthopedic specialists upon return the Belgrade, it was revealed Partizan goalkeeper Nemanja Stevanovic will have to undergo a shoulder surgery as a result of injury sustained during training in Belek winter camp.

“I`m the only one who knows how hard it is for me now. It`s like a streak of bad luck but some things are meant to happen, it seems. I rotated my hand awkwardly and dislocated my shoulder during training but the medical team popped it back straight away. It was swollen but I secretly hoped I won`t be needing a surgical as such things happened before” –said Stevanovic.

29-year-old goalkeeper returned to Belgrade five days before Belek winter preps were concluded.

“Upon return home, we did all the x-rays with club doctor Sead Malicevic and after consultations with famous orthopedic Vladan Stevanovic we reached the most unwanted outcome – surgery”.

“As everyone in the squad, I had my Covid-19 test straight away and I`m negative, so now I`m awaiting surgery date”.

“I`m a natural born fighter, so I`ll do everything to speed up my return. Meanwhile, I`ll support my teammates in their battle for the title, hoping they can extend team`s winning streak. I know miracles can happen if we all believe they can” – said Stevanovic.
