Young Partizan right-back Luka Cucin had a metatarsal bone surgery over a month ago and is now undergoing two-month recovery stage. He spoke to Partizan website today:
– I really feel good! Surgery was fine and the only problem I had was 14-day bed period afterwards, I couldn`t move or get up because of wounds but, thank God, that`s behind me now. As for the recovery, I started it a week ago and everything goes according to plan so far, says Cucin.
Did you watch Partizan games?
– As soon as I was able to go out I didn`t miss a single game at home. Now I have my special walking boots and it all seems much easier now.
Do you keep in touch with fellow Partizan youngsters? Some of them made their Partizan debuts in the meantime.
– Of course I watched it all and I keep in touch with them occasionally. I`m glad Strahinja Jovanovic debuted – he`s not only a good player, he`s a great lad too. I speak to Vakulko every day, he keeps asking me how I am, how my recovery goes. I`d like to thank all the other boys who messaged me as soon as they found out about my injury. They all told me that`s part of the package, not to worry and that everything will be fine with time. I thank them all for it, as I feel stronger mentally and cannot wait to get back onto the pitch. They showed me what the team spirit is about and how we work together as a group.
