Media news: Crowd sound effects at FK Partizan matches

Competitions under UEFA umbrella and number of leading European club leagues introduced crowd noise effects early in the season 2020/21. Recently,  FK Partizan joined forces with Arena Sport TV to kick-off this sound platform all over Serbian football grounds.

“Due to Covid-19 pandemic we cannot allow actual crowd presence at the stands. FK Partizan wants to enrich atmosphere during club`s live coverages and join current European and world standards” – said FK Partizan Marketing Director Predrag Vujovic.

“The idea of introducing crowd sound effects is there from the start of the season 2020/21 and we finally have technical ability to make it work. We hope football fans, especially Partizan aficionados, will enjoy this as much as they enjoy the football game itself”.

Arena Sport TV platform Arena Cloud is available all over the former Yugoslavia, covering football events all around the region. By activating number of options during live coverage, viewers will be able to feel presence of fans with constant chants and effects replicating actual crowd reactions when a goal is scored, opportunity missed etc.

As FK Partizan pioneered this idea locally, first added sound effects game will be Partizan v Vojvodina, kicking-off today at 4pm CET.

“We are going to implement crowd noises during live coverage of other SSL games as well” – said Arena Sport TV Chief Editor Ivan Radulovic.
