Dusan Trbojevic, former Partizan player, youth school coach and scout, died today at age 66. Trbojevic was credited for discovering and nurturing many Partizan youth talent of whom many had successful football careers home and abroad.
Trbojevic started his football career at Partizan youths back in 1966, winning a lots of domestic and international trophies. He was also one of the top scorers among his peers, scoring 66 goals in just one season.
He signed his professional contract with Partizan in 1971 and after 5 appearances for seniors, he was loaned to Dinamo Vranje and later to IMT Beograd.
Upon hanging his boots, he started his youth coach career at Partizan followed by his appointment as chief club youth scout, which led to number of top-class talented kids being signed for the club.
