Ozegovic rewarded for his hard work

From the winter break onwards, Partizan is struggling with injuries. Congested calendar took its toll. Ognjen Ozegovic is one of those players who were more off than on the pitch recently but his return to match fitness was marked with a goal scored against Cukaricki this weekend.

– I`m not fully recovered yet and I hope I`ll play without any pain soon. As for the goal scored, it means a lot to me as it`s a reward for my work. But, it would mean nothing if it wasn`t for the team`s performance. I`m more than happy that we played well in all departments and showed we have quality, says Ozegovic.

Partizan is still competing for two trophies, title and national cup.

– This weekend`s win will mean nothing if we don`t win on Wednesday or all remaining games as that`s what everyone expects from us and we all have to be aware of it at any given time.

Both you and Tawamba scored against Cukaricki and worked well together.

– I`m happy for Tawamba scoring too. Everything looked perfect on Sunday.
