Queensy Menig after Partizan win over Radnicki 1923

Partizan achieved third league win in a row by beating Radnicki 1923 2-1 at home with goals from Menig (`41) and Ricardo (`56).

We spoke to 27-year-old winger Menig after the game.

“We are in a good form now and I hope it will be the same for remaining two games. Both matches are important, first one against Vojvodina who`s just behind us on the standings. But, we have to think about us and our game first of all”, said Menig.

What was the problem in the recent months, was it pressure and psyche?

“Absolutely! Everything is in your head as football is about confidence. If you feel good, you`re gonna play well. If you feel bad it reflects on the field”.

Now, we see smile on your face.

“It`s a good atmosphere around the team now, as soon as we picked up a bit. We have to finish the season in a fine fashion and start the new one good”.

It seems we can only lament on the things missed?

“ Of course, we are aware of everything, we know it should have been better as we now battle for spot number 3 or 4, while in the past it was always about top two spots. It`s how it is now, next season we`ll come stronger”, said Menig.
