Ricardo Gomes after the clash with Novi Pazar

Partizan forward Ricardo Gomes scored his 27^th goal of the season in a 2-0 win over Novi Pazar. He also hit the net in a 3-1 win away to TSC for a back-to-back wins for our club.

“After one tough period, hard work and wins motivate you to keep going and do your best to win all three remaining games, then we`ll see where we are”, said 31-year-old striker.

Youngster Jevremovic showed great vision to set up the scene for Partizan second goal of the night, Diabate was left to calmly assist you for your 27^th goal of the season.

”True that, Diabate was in a position to shoot on goal but he sent me a good pass while Jevremovic does a great job during the week, other kids too, and when you do your training in a right manner, things like this open up during the game”.

Partizan needs three wins from three remaining games badly but the teams above us on the ladder keep achieving good results in a battle for European spots.

“Exactly, but we have to focus on ourselves alone and when we do it, to win. That`s the with three remaining games as well”.

We struggled a bit after the game`s opener.

”Oh yes! We scored an early goal and even if you don`t want it to happen you lose your full focus a bit. We had many similar games this season and we know we cannot allow ourselves to lose focus for a single bit. We have to double our lead straight away, otherwise it can get dangerous later on”, said Ricardo.
