SSL: Partizan v Macva preview

Partizan is home to Macva on Saturday (5pm CET kick-off) as part of Linglong Tire Serbian Super Liga round 13 fixtures.

Soumah (eye injury) will not be available for at least 3-4 more weeks, Jojic is newest casualty and expected to be out for three weeks while L Markovic is doubtful for tomorrow`s game.

Partizan boss Aleksandar Stanojevic on upcoming home encounter:

-We know what we are supposed to do although we are not in the best of situations. Our aim is to win games, get results and play our style of football. I want to see and convince myself who`s able to answer to our demands until winter transfer window when we plan to reconstruct our team. The only solutions are work and training. We have new players and need to synchro our team, to work on our finishing. I`m pleased we create opportunities but we don`t convert them unfortunately. Persistence, focus and faith is what we need.

Those not motivated enough will not be with us soon. This is kind of a filter for me and the club, so we can see who we can count on come December. But, I don`t believe motivation will be a problem.

We have to play our strongest line-up available but also to try some options. For example, Holender and Bahebeck can play together in the attack, we just need to see what formation we can play them in.

Not everyone can get opportunity all the time but some players will get one starting from tomorrow. Players need to deserve it. There`ll be periods with two games a week and chance for younger players to shine.

As for Macva, they had troubles with sending-off`s, losing games as a result, but we have to focus on ourselves more than anything. Macva can play with three or five at the back but we cannot thing about our opposition before we sort our lines up.
