Partizan artificial surface training pitch below East stand is officially named “Milutin Soskic”, after legendary Partizan, Yugoslav and international goalkeeper.
Bronze Milutin Soskic info board was placed upon training pitch entry for Partizan youths to be reminded of club`s history and tradition as well as group or individual success that can only serve them as a boost in their footie future.
Event was attended by FK Partizan Honorary President Ivan Curkovic, FK Partizan President Milorad Vucelic, General Director Milos Vazura, Sports Director Ivica Iliev, former Partizan coach Ljubisa Tumbakovic, goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic, former goalkeeper Goran Pandurovic, Head Coach Miroslav Djukic, team captain Sasa Ilic and many others including member of Soskic family.
Milutin Soskic was Partizan goalkeeper in a period between 1955 and 1966, making 410 apps and scoring 10 goals. He moved abroad in 1966 and made 65 apps for German outfit Koln over the next five years. He also made 50 apps for Yugoslav national team and played for only official Rest of the World team under the FIFA umbrella.
