Zoran Tosic back in style

After recovering from injury and engaging in full winter preps, Zoran Tosic made his mark as a started away to Backa and assisted to Partizan`s early opener.

– It was important to restart the season with a win. We scored early, entered calm waters and made it easier for ourselves. Clean sheet, three goals scored, that`s a nice start, says Tosic.

New role for you and first assist.

– I did, but it was assist by chance. But, it `s important we scored. I was a starter after a long time and that`s what really matters to me. I`m still far from my best and I know I can play much better. I feel quite good and I`m sure I`ll pick my form the more I play. I believe I can help and I think this team will be better with each new game. As for my new role – every player has one, so do I. With my return to the team, boss has one option more and he knows what he can expect from me when I`m fully fit. Therefore, I believe I will get on a required level after several more games.

This win can mean a lot for team`s confidence ahead of more challenges.

– I`m glad we played the way we wanted to We need continuity, a streak of wins, for Partizan to gain respect back, for our opponents to fear Partizan once again. We have to keep winning, especially as Eternal derby game is around the corner, we want to be in a good mood for that on. Derby is our chance to close on our bitter rival, our opportunity to join the title race.
