Partizan won Radnicki Nis 2-1 in a SSL round 3 fixture. Our team trailed 1-0 for full hour only for Natcho and Severina to make a late comeback with a penalty-kick and a free-kick goal scored respectively. We spoke to both goalscorers after the game, starting with Severina.
“It`s my first goal for Partizan and I`m even more happy with a three points. I think support from the fans is also important to us, they push us and I think it`s good for us.
We have to start much better than we started today when we were sleeping for the first fifteen minutes. In the second half, coach told us to start like dogs and I think we did really good. On Thursday, we have very important game and need also to win”, said Xander Severina.
Natcho scored an equalizer from the spot.
“It was a really difficult game. We entered the game not so bad but we conceded a goal out of the blue. After that, pressure from the fans moved inside the pitch and as a result we started making simple mistakes. At the break, we calmed down and relaxed a bit, came back out with a new motivation and I`m happy we made a comeback to win this game.
The main point now is confidence, something we don`t have after we lost the last game. Today, after conceding, we lost confidence but the penalty gave us some back. We have to learn from that, we need to know it will like that every game here and we need to react better.
We are in a difficult moment, we say that all the time. We have a problem between fans and the club and I understand it but we can only ask for their support, we need them, they are so important to us. You can see the difference when they are behind us. We need them especially for the next European game at home. We need to forget everything, this is for Partizan, this is bigger than club, the fans or players.
