Meet Partizan's first European opponents: UNA Strassen
Partizan kick off the new Mozzart Bet SuperLiga season this weekend with an away match against Zemun, but just a few days later Saša Ilić's side will turn its attention to Europe. The black-and-whites begin their UEFA Conference League campaign in the second qualifying round, where they will face Luxembourg's UNA Strassen.
Following the draw in Nyon in mid-June, it was already confirmed that Partizan would host the first leg on July 23. The only remaining question was whether their opponents would be UNA Strassen or San Marino's La Fiorita. After winning the first leg 1:0, the Luxembourg side secured qualification with another 2:0 victory in the return match, earning the right to travel to Belgrade next week.

Who are UNA Strassen?
Founded in 1921, UNA Strassen spent most of its history competing in Luxembourg's lower divisions before establishing itself as a regular top-flight club over the past decade. The red-and-blacks have never won a major trophy, with their greatest achievement being a runners-up finish in the 2024/25 Luxembourg National Division.
The 2024/25 season also marked the club's first-ever qualification for European competition. They repeated that achievement the following year and, including this season's ties against La Fiorita, have now played six UEFA Europa Conference League and UEFA Europa League qualifying matches, recording two wins and four defeats with a goal difference of 3:7.
Partizan will host the first leg at the Partizan Stadium on July 23, before travelling to Luxembourg for the return leg seven days later. The second match will be played at the An de Millewee Stadium, a brand-new venue opened in 2025 with a capacity of 2,500 spectators. Fans are seated close to the pitch, as the stadium has no athletics track.
The stadium features a natural grass surface and floodlights, meaning the return leg will be played in the evening, just as UNA Strassen's home match against La Fiorita kicked off at 9:00 p.m.
