Tonight, at 9:00 p.m., FK Partizan will host FC UNA Strassen in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round.

Instead of beginning the new European campaign in front of a full stadium, Partizan will play this match with the entire East Stand closed and the stadium capacity reduced by 10,000 seats, in accordance with a decision of the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body.

Regardless of how many supporters attend the match in Humska, the image seen by television viewers will be devastating: an entirely empty East Stand during a European fixture.

This sanction is a direct consequence of incidents that occurred during previous European qualifying matches, but it is also part of a long-standing problem that has caused serious financial, sporting and reputational damage to our club for years.

Over the past five seasons, FK Partizan has been fined at least €793,875 for offences related to crowd behaviour, stadium safety and match organisation. Over the past ten years, the total amount of fines has exceeded €1.5 million. In addition to financial penalties, the club has repeatedly been sanctioned with the closure of individual sections of the stadium, matches played behind closed doors and bans on ticket sales to Partizan supporters for away fixtures.

The passion and support of our fans have been among Partizan’s greatest strengths for generations. However, the use of pyrotechnics, throwing objects, the use of laser pointers, entering the field of play, blocking passageways and staircases, discriminatory or offensive chanting, and displaying messages unrelated to sport or contrary to UEFA regulations directly harm the club.

Due to previous offences, the match against UNA Strassen will be subject to increased UEFA scrutiny, with two UEFA officials present at Partizan Stadium. The club will implement all organisational and security measures required by competition regulations, while enhanced checks will be carried out at every entrance. However, protecting our stands from further closures requires the shared responsibility of everyone attending the match.

The gates of Partizan Stadium will open two hours before kick-off. Do not wait until the last moment to enter the stadium. Arrive early, allow sufficient time to pass through the security checks and take your designated place in the stands. Do not remain in passageways or on staircases. Obstructed access routes represent a serious safety risk and are strictly sanctioned by UEFA.
