Partizan defeated Kazakhstan's Tobol 3-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League third qualifying round.

Saša Ilić's side earned a commanding advantage ahead of next week's return leg in Kostanay thanks to a disciplined, clinical, and creative performance. Based on the chances created, the margin of victory could have been even greater, but a three-goal lead still puts the Black-and-Whites in a strong position heading into the second leg.

Partizan showed throughout the evening that they were the better team. Despite taking a significant advantage to Kazakhstan, they will approach the return fixture with respect for their opponents and without complacency.

The breakthrough came in the 32nd minute, when Demba Seck calmly finished off an excellent team move, sending the home crowd into celebration. The goal gave Partizan even greater control of the match, allowing them to dictate the tempo, keep possession when necessary, and raise the intensity whenever opportunities appeared.

The Black-and-Whites confirmed their dominance in the second half. Erik Kojzek thought he had doubled the lead in the 54th minute, but the goal was ruled out after a lengthy VAR review. Ibrahim Zubairu made it 2-0 in the 65th minute, before substitute Shaka Traore added a third goal in stoppage time. That strike also required a VAR review, but this time the decision went in Partizan's favour, sealing a convincing 3-0 victory before the trip to Kazakhstan.
