Lenoard, your first days with Partizan. How do you feel? It seems you had a warm welcome here.
“I feel very good. I`m grateful for the welcome that I received from the players and the coaches. It`s been two days that I`ve been seeing them but I have a good feeling as everyone is very welcoming”.
When did you decide to sign for Partizan?
“I got a call from my agent that Partizan is coming for me and I was like this is a big club and I also wanted to be part of this history and this great team”.
Did you have any other offers?
“I don`t know about that, that is the agent`s side, so I don`t really know about it”.
Can you tell us a bit about yourself, your main playing characteristics?
“I`m good at winning balls and I`m also good at playing because I love to play a lot. I`m also good at switching place. I don`t score too many goals but I hope to score goals for Partizan”.
You were awarded best player of the season by Odds BK fans.
“Yes, that was last season”.
You did two training sessions with your new teammates. What are your impressions?
“It`s been very good. The communication from the coaches, the physios, the players, it`s been very good. It`s day two only, but I feel I`m at home already”.
Partizan has a lot of attacking talent. Will you be the one in charge of the “dirty job” at the back to make as stand more firm defensively?
“Yes, that is what I`m going to do, to help the attackers so that we can win games”.
How does training with Natcho or Zahid looks like early on?
“I like the coverage from all the players. They`ve been top and I really appreciate it”.
You played in Ghana, Israel, MLS and Norway.
“First club that I moved to was Ashod in Israel, I was there for year-and-a-half before I moved to Whitecaps for two years and then I came to Odds in Norway. It`s been a tough journey but I think it`s been good. Me coming here also, about this club, about this team, I really like the journey I made to be able to get here”.
You`ve been to different league and different playing styles?
“Norway and Israel are really not that much different as it`s much more tactical. MLS is different because is much more physical.
Did you inform yourself about Partizan before your arrival?
“I had to google some things and I had to start watching some games, about how we play. Eternal derby was the first game I watched on YouTube.
What do you expect for the second part of the season?
“My expectations are very high. I want us to stay where we are, being first, to qualify for European Cup, that what everyone wants, the team and the fans”.
What do you want to achieve with Partizan in upcoming seasons?
“I want a trophy, at least we have to bring home a trophy. Those who started the season, started it well to get us to this point and those of us who are coming in, hope we can do something to win the trophy at the end of the season”.
Boss Duljaj said he like aggressive, fast and direct players, are you the kind?
“Yes, I`m the one”.
Did you play for your national team?
“No but playing here there`s a good chance. But first, I have to do well here”.
