Partizan beat Vozdovac at home after penalty shoot-out to qualify for the Serbian Cup semi-finals.
Partizan boss Igor Duljaj made four changes compared to last weekend`s league outing. Filipovic deputized for Kovacevic at centre-back position, Owusu was back in starting line-up in the expense of Kanoute, while Goh and Zahid made way for Kalulu and Natcho.
Partizan had first opportunity on 13 when Bazdar beat the keeper but lost his ground before he could send the ball into the empty net.
Kalulu sent the shot wide on 17 while Severina had couple of left-footed shots wide off the far post.
Kalulu had a great opportunity on 42 but his close range shot got somehow blocked by the keeper and cleared by the defender while from the resulting corner-kick Filipovic got close to score with his close range header.
On the other side, visitors did create a couple of threats but it was Filipovic himself who proved the most focused at the back to clear possible dangers.
Finally, in the first half stoppage time, Stojkovic sent a pinpoint low through pass for Bazdar who wins one-one-one with the keeper in emphatic fashion. Partizan 1, Vozdovac 0.
After the break, lively Severina created a couple of early opportunities for Partizan while visitors made a total of four subs by 54th minute.
Partizan boss Duljaj reacted on the hour to send Zahid and Nikolic on the field for Natcho and Severina.
On 63, Kalulu sent a pinpoint inviting cross for Zahid to head the ball over the bar.
Out of the blue, Partizan conceded a penalty-kick! After the VAR review, Vozdovac was awarded a penalty for Nikolic`s handball in the box. Sub Flemmings took the shot from the spot but Partizan keeper Jovanovic made a save from his low shot towards the bottom left corner of the net!
Goh was in for Bazdar on 72 and his right side break on 75 was stopped by Matic while Kalulu failed to make the most of his break into the box on 77. Zahid saw his shot saved by the keeper on 79.
Visitors had a great opportunity on 82 but Jovanovic saved close range near post header from Petrovic.
Filipovic had a great opportunity on the other side minute later but his heart of the box shot was met by a brave defensive block.
Boss Duljaj made two final subs on 87 – Jankovic and Scekic coming in for Kalulu and Owusu.
Partizan was in for a shock on 89. Defensive hesitation led to a brilliantly measured strike from Purgic who found the right corner of the net with his edge of the box drive. Partizan 1, Vozdovac 1.
Partizan had one final opportunity deep into stoppage time but Antic hit the wall of players from his edge of the box free-kick.
In the straight-out penalty shootout, Jovanovic saved first Vozdovac shot from the spot and the final fifth one to take Partizan into the cup semi.
