Left-back Zlatan Sehovic returned to Partizan after a one-year loan deal at Kazakhstani side Ordabasy. He had a successful season there with over 30 appearances made. Now, Sehovic fully motivated joined Partizan mid-season preps.
“After one year, here I am again. It always nice to be at Partizan, with your people, in your city. I played over thirty games while in Kazakhstan so I think this loan deal was a right move. I have lots of games behind me and I`m back very motivated”, said Sehovic.
Sehovic confirms working conditions at Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort are fantastic. He`s been part of club preps many times since 2017.
“I`ve been in Turkey with Partizan quite a few times but I don`t remember we ever had such conditions nor we played on a better training pitches. Hotel itself is of traditional Turkey quality standard but the training pitch surface is perfect. We have all pre-conditions to meet demands of our new boss and to make a progress. Boss said we all start from scratch. He wants to see us all in action and we try to prove ourselves”.
24-year-old also revealed how`s work with a new coach Blagojevic going.
“We started with direct work straight away. We work a lot on tactical bits as season restarts soon. Boss nourishes modern football style so there`s lots of attacking tasks for us wing-backs and we try to meet his expectations”.
Finally, Sehovic commented on club`s strategic decision to present Partizan youths with more playing opportunities.
“It`s such a burden playing for Partizan but also a best feeling in the world. Now we have lots of youngsters around, eager to prove themselves. Partizan is a big club, an institution, and we are all honoured to be here. Those of us who are here for a long time, we know how hard it was over the past few years. I`m truly pleased changes happened and I really like the new look”, said Zlatan Sehovic.
