Partizan boss Srdjan Blagojevic ahead of Vojvodina away:
“It`s a big game and a big challenge for us, considering long tradition of meetings between the two sides. I have no doubts Vojvodina will be very motivated but we are not going to lack motivation as well. Our ambitions are always the same – respect for the opponent, respect for ourselves and winning desire.
You never have enough time as a coach, you always need at least one training session more, one player, one day, one week more. It`s never enough. Of course, we did our work during the week, did analysis of last weekend`s match and did our training sessions looking back at it as well as looking forward to Vojvodina game. We will try to implement what we did during the week tomorrow.
I have a huge respect for this Vojvodina side. I believe they are one of the best teams in the league and if we look at their roster we`ll see there`s a real football skill there. They play intensive football game and it`s on us to reply with team spirit and our game, to try and impose our own qualities.
We have two dilemma`s regarding tactical bits and our line-up – are we going to be able to reply to what Vojvodina throws at us and to impose our game afterwards. We`d actually like to create such ambience that it`s all about us and how we want this game to develop and finish. Therefore, our starting line-up will be influenced by our set-up.
We have lots of fans in Novi Sad and in the North of Serbia in general, I expect support. I`ll seize this opportunity to call on all our fans to show up with positive energy, to recognize the moment we are in, to help us. I have to respect our supporters who were behind us last weekend even when we were down two-nil. I guess it help us make a comeback and win a point at least. It also helped players gain confidence and I would love to see more it in the future. It will be tough tomorrow, it will be tough all the way until the end of the season but we can get out of all this as a unit only.
