Mia Popovic, 14-year-old girl from Podgorica, battling pelvic bone cancer, wanted to visit FK Partizan for a long time and her wish was granted today.
Mia was accompanied by her brother and Biserno srce (Pearl Heart) Charity Director Jovana Leposavic who herself won a battle against pelvic bone cancer.
Mia Popovic finished her chemotherapy in Belgrade and she is getting ready for surgery in Bologna. She was dreaming of visiting her favourite club for a long time and emotions were high once she finally made it to Partizan Stadium.
“I`m thrilled and to honest, I didn`t expect to have such a good time here. I was honoured to meet Danko Lazovic and learn a lot of info on Partizan and club legends. I was particularly glad to feel the beauty of Partizan main pitch”, said Mia Popovic.
On FK Partizan behalf, Danko Lazovic presented Mia Popovic with signed shirt and she was also invited to attend one Partizan senior team training sessions to meet the players.
