Ilic, Scekic and Zubairu are all back from one-game suspension although boss Blagojevic said Ilic and Scekic remain doubtful. Goh (ankle) remains out of contention.
Partizan boss Srdjan Blagojevic ahead of TSC cup tie:
-It`s clear that we are trailing behind the league leaders so much that we are left with cup trophy to battle for. We are now in quarter-finals and we`ll do our best effort, best of our skills and determination to reach the semis. It will be a very demanding game as it was against the same opponent three days ago. We will approach it with full focus as our thoughts are turned to semi-finals of the competition.
Logically, certain amount of pressure is there as this is one-legged tie. We can`t go up or down the league ladder much while tomorrow is about 90 minutes of football. But, pressure is something you have when you do this job and we have to adapt and respond in a right manner.
We looked into defensive troubles we had against TSC recently, especially the ones late in the game when we had two almost identical unmarked headers from the heart of the box. We did certain corrections and I hope we`ll not have problems in that department. Moreover, we were short of the players who are quite good at defending set-pieces.
We did practice penalty-kicks for five to ten minutes today, we simply have to take that into the account. But, with all due respect, we want to do the job over 90 minutes but we also have two keepers who are quite good at saving penalty-kicks.
TSC played European knockout stage this season so they cannot be a weak opponent. They are well-organized but we have our ideas we will try to implement tomorrow. Every coach gets a new idea and I`m sure me and my colleague Matic will try some new things. I can`t say how it`s going to unfold – we might see lots or very few goals scored but it will be interesting encounter as one team will reach the semis of the national cup.
