Football club Partizan has signed new five-year contracts with two of its most promising Youth Academy players – Vanja Dragojevic and Ognjen Ugresic.
Vanja and Ognjen took their first football steps together on the fields of Partizan’s Youth Academy, advancing through all the age groups side by side, sharing both the joy of victories and the weight of defeats. Together, they won tournaments, became league champions in youth categories, and signed their first professional contracts two years ago. Today, they are first-team players at Partizan, now with five-year deals in hand.
“It feels amazing, a childhood dream has come true,” said Vanja Dragojevic after signing. “This is just extra motivation to work even harder and prove I deserve it. I didn’t think for a second—there was no doubt—this is something you don’t turn down or even think twice about. My goals in the upcoming period are to perform well, get good results, and, God willing, win the title next year!”
Ognjen Ugresic shared the same emotions: “I’m overjoyed to have extended my contract with the club I love most in the world. It’s something I’ve dreamed of my whole life—to stay in Partizan as long as possible and reach the first team. I’ve had my chance, played some good matches, and I’m happy the club believes in me and has shown it with this new contract. Vanja and I have been Grobari our whole lives, we've played together all through our youth, and I’m thrilled we’re signing until 2030 together.”
With these contract extensions, Partizan reaffirms its strategic commitment to building the future of the first team on players developed within its Youth Academy.
