Partizan claimed their third consecutive SuperLiga win – and their most convincing yet – with a 7:2 triumph in Krusevac, just three days after facing Hibernian and four days before the second leg of the Europa Conference League third qualifying round.
The match was effectively decided in the first half, with the visitors scoring three goals from four shots on target. Jovan Milosevic opened the scoring in the 31st minute after a solo run from the halfway line, beating five defenders before finding the net from the edge of the box.
Captain Bibars Natho doubled the lead in the 38th minute with a precise shot into the top corner after cutting inside from the left. Just two minutes later, Bogdan Kostic made it 3:0 with a strike from a similar position, but into the near corner.
The second half brought a flurry of goals between the 53rd and 60th minutes. Majdevac punished a lapse in concentration with two quick goals for the hosts, but Bogdan Kostic restored the two-goal cushion in the 57th minute before substitute Andrej Kostic added the fifth three minutes later.
Andrej Kostic struck again in the 86th minute, netting his third goal in as many league matches, before Djurdjevic sealed the emphatic win in stoppage time following an assist from Ghayas Zahid, who returned to action after a ten-month absence.
