Partizan will spend the two-week league break for international matches at the top of the Mozzart Bet SuperLiga table with 16 points, after a 2-0 victory over Radnik Surdulica in the 7th round.
The evening at Humska was fully dedicated to club legend Dragan Mance. Andrej Kostic opened the scoring in the 71st minute and celebrated in the same way the late Partizan striker once did—running to the South Stand, sliding on his knees with arms raised high.
Later, in the 90th minute, Bibars Natho sealed the win from the penalty spot after a handball by a Radnik defender inside the box.
Partizan players wore retro kits from the 1982/83 season in honor of Mance, who tragically passed away 40 years ago—on September 3rd, 1985. It was a powerful tribute to one of the club’s most beloved players.
On the pitch, Partizan dominated possession and controlled the tempo, but it took them a long time to break through Radnik’s compact defensive line. When they did, goalkeeper Stefan Randjelovic often stood in their way with a series of fine saves.
Ultimately, persistent pressure paid off, and Srđan Blagojevic’s young team earned a deserved three points, heading into the international break with confidence and momentum.
