Partizan were defeated by Vojvodina in the derby match of the 26th round of the Mozzart Bet Serbian SuperLiga – 0–3 (0–1).
An early head injury suffered by Milan Roganović, who sustained a concussion in the 13th minute, significantly disrupted the tactical plan of the team coached by Damir Čakar. Nevertheless, during the opening 45 minutes the black-and-whites looked organized and purposeful, but the hosts managed to take the lead late in the half.
Vukan Savićević scored in the 43rd minute with a strike from more than 20 meters, beating Miloš Krunić and punishing earlier missed chances by Andrej Kostić and Demba Sek.
In the second half, Partizan’s coaching staff attempted to shake up the team with five additional substitutions. The changes brought some improvement in play, but not enough to overturn the home side’s advantage.
Vojvodina eventually punished Partizan’s attacking efforts with two more goals in stoppage time, both from the penalty spot. Marko Veličković first doubled the lead, before substitute John Mary—who won both penalties—added another, making the final scoreline more convincing than the balance of play on the pitch suggested.
