Less than a week has passed since Srđan Blagojević returned to the Partizan bench, and his comeback match was marked by a victory for the black-and-whites over TSC in the 27th round of the Serbian SuperLiga – 2–1 (2–1).
The fact that the experienced coach knows the current squad very well, along with the players’ familiarity with his demands, helped the team quickly adapt to his ideas after only four training sessions. It looked good this Saturday afternoon against a very strong side from Bačka Topola, and the points deservedly stayed in Humska.
Partizan’s better play in the opening 45 minutes was rewarded early, as Ognjen Dragojević scored in the 6th minute following a cross from the right flank. In the 36th minute, the lead was doubled after an attack built from the opposite side, finished by Vukašin Đurđević. Four minutes later, Mihajlo Milosavić reduced the deficit, which ultimately proved to be the final score.
As on many occasions under his leadership, the team did not allow the conceded goal—especially at such an awkward moment—to disrupt their composure. Even when the opponent dictated the tempo, Partizan remained focused on their objective. In the end, it was an important victory both in terms of results and team morale, and the celebration with the fans after the final whistle was fully understandable.
