Partizan defeated OFK Beograd in the final match of Matchday 7 of the Mozzart Bet Serbian SuperLiga – 3:1 (1:0).

The energy shown by Saša Ilić’s players in the second leg of the Conference League play-off against Spanish side Getafe was once again on display against the team from Karaburma, as the Black and Whites deservedly claimed all three points. Partizan took a 3:0 lead, controlled the game throughout and were rarely in danger of losing their advantage.

Inspired by the support from the stands, the Partizan players imposed their style of play, stepping forward aggressively and authoritatively and allowing the opposition very few opportunities to seriously threaten goalkeeper Miloš Krunić. Variety and creativity were the defining qualities of Partizan’s performance, with the goals coming from well-worked attacks, intense pressing in the visitors’ final third and effective transitional play.

OFK Beograd lacked both the strength and quality to seriously challenge Partizan’s strong performance. They managed to reduce the deficit through Silue, but at no point did the final outcome appear in serious doubt.
