Partizan drew 4:4 (3:1) with Radnik in Surdulica in the 10th round of the Serbian SuperLiga.

It was one of the best matches seen in the top flight of Serbian football in recent times. Chances came at both ends, and after taking an early 1:0 lead, the Black and Whites managed to fight back from a two-goal deficit and earn a draw despite playing with 10 men from the 35th minute following Milan Vukotić’s sending-off.

After Igor Miladinović hit the crossbar in the seventh minute, Erik Kojzek put the Black and Whites ahead in the 18th minute after being set up by Demba Seck. What followed was something rarely seen. The home side scored three goals to take a commanding lead, while Saša Ilić’s team were also reduced to 10 men before the break.

However, what will please Partizan head coach Saša Ilić is the fact that his players refused to give up. Neither when their opponents had a two-goal advantage, nor after falling behind again following the equaliser. They battled against a numerical disadvantage, tried everything to claim victory, and in the end came agonisingly close to completing the comeback.
