Former Israeli international and team captain, Partizan playmaker Bibars Natcho, signed a new deal with the club lasting until summer of 2025.
Natcho arrived to Partizan in 2019, amassing 58 goals and 51 assists so far.
“Of course I`m excited and it`s important for me to remain at home, at my club, at the place I feel very nice at. I hope I`ll will continue to bring happiness to all our fans and be able to help club and my teammates to do the best for our Partizan”, said Natcho.
You`ve been here since 2019. You also gained Serbian citizenship and your family is here. What do you feel about the club, city of Belgrade and Serbia now?
“I`ve said many times I feel really good here. Also, my wife and my kids feel at home as well. I have that feeling from the day one! This is a very nice city to live in, people are warm and pleasant. We are very happy to remain here”.
In football, there`s ups and downs. What moments would you underline so far?
“At the end of day, feeling the Eternal derby atmosphere is the best feeling. But, when won derby semi in 2020, that was a truly big moment for the club and the players. Worse moments are when Partizan suffers defeat. Also, when we finished fourth at the end of the season, it was tragedy and toughest moment so far”.
Did you think about what you are going to do once you hang your boots?
“I still don`t know but what I do know is that I want to stay close to the football game. I don`t know exactly what I`m going to do upon the ending of my career, maybe coaching assistant coach or manager or sporting director, it all depends on the situation at the time. I think I can help a lot wherever I end up and I hope that`s going to happen. I would be more than happy for that to happen in Partizan, but we`ll see what the future has in store for me”.
What`s your message to the fans?
“Partizan is all that matters, the club is bigger than any of us individually! What`s good for the club has to be the most important thing to us all. I also want to say I`m thankful for their support, they are the best fans I know. When they are behind us, we are unstoppable and the feeling when they pack stands is one of the best feelings ever. I can promise I`ll do my best to make them happy, to give them many more wins and - I hope - the league title”.
