Partizan was drawn to Dynamo Kyiv for UEFA Champions League round 2 tie.
First leg will be played on 23rd or 24th of July. We spoke to FK Partizan Sporting Director Ivica Kralj after the draw:
-We all know how strong CL Qualifiers are as well as any participant teams individually. We have four weeks to get ready for this tie and we have great motivation to present ourselves in a best possible fashion against one side of Dynamo`s quality.
We are leaving Belgrade tomorrow for a second part of pre-season preps. Up to the 10th of July, we`ll play friendlies against teams of CL quality, so we`ll have a better view of our side before CL tie.
We know it`s going to be hard against Kyiv but Partizan is a big club and we were always up for it in such matches. Dynamo is a team with tradition and exceptional roster. Unfortunately, we`ll play the home tie with no attendance due to a one-game ban imposed last season by UEFA. Obviously, presence of fans brings a special lure to any competition”, said Ivica Kralj.
