Bojan Zavisic attended latest edition of Partizan Podcact. Former Partizan player and first team coaching assistant to Gordan Petric, Igor Duljaj and Albert Nadj, now trains Partizan U16 team.
Son on former Partizan football legend Ilija Zavisic, Bojan led Partizan U16`s to a third place at the recent Florence Cup tournament.
“Partizan traditionally takes part in Florence Cup almost every year and we always leave good impression. It was a U17 tournament but we were with U16`s and managed to finish third, playing against teams so different compared to us. Italians are firm, impeccably tactical, a little bit cheeky but kids battled their way through adapting to their style and we got a fine end result”, said Zavisic.
It`s always nice when Partizan kids achieve success but Zavisic underlines the importance of getting these kids all the way to the first team.
“They are born in 2009 and in a year of two we`ll know who`s ready for the seniors. Of course, our aim is to have them as quality people and footballers. There are range of rumours and stories covering Partizan youth academy but I want to underline we are doing a good work and it will be clear what we are doing here in the near future”.
Finally, Zavisic shared his expectations regarding seniors, who didn`t start their season in a good fashion.
“I`m not worried, trust me on this. I know how boss Stanojevic handles things and results will be there, sooner or later. It`s the same with Partizan youths – we need patience”, said Bojan Zavisic.
