Under the new coach by the dugout, Partizan beat Tekstilac 4-1 with goals from Zubairu, Natcho, Zahid and Nikolic.
We spoke to Natcho and Zubairu after the game.
“We all know how uncomfortable it is for us now and we had to take matters into our hands, to take responsibility and push ourselves to a win. We won the previous league match as well, today it was 4-1 but we could have score more, especially in the first half when we had two or three more clear-cut opportunities. At the end of the day, this is a good result for us”, said Natcho.
Good result led to reaction from the fans on the stands?
Of course, fans waited for to enjoy for a long time, to see good game of football. We were in poor form for some time and now we presented them with some nice moments and I`m happy for it”.
Ibrahim Zubairu also spoke to Partizan website after the match.
“This was an incredible evening for me and I just want to keep it up, to score more goals and assist”, said Zubairu.
It seems you felt so good on the pitch today?
“Partizan is a big club with enormous pressure and you need time to adapt to it all. I just want to continue like this”.
Who do you dedicate the goal you scored to?
“To my parents”.
Did they visit you in Belgrade yet?
“Unfortunately, they did not but I hope there`ll be opportunities for them to come and visit me”, said Zubairu.
