Marko Jovanovic, one of Partizan coaching assistants and team captain from his playing days, attended latest edition of Partizan Podcast. Partizan fans always appreciated his dedication and fighting spirit while 36-year-old calls on all Partizan supporters to purchase season tickets and help their favourite club.
“It`s a duty of all of us – true Partizan fans who love this club, who are not there for the benefits but solely for the love of Partizan - to transfer love for this club embedded on us in the past to the new generations. I`m so glad to see The Season Starts Now campaign being launched and I would like to see all Partizan fans join, as this has always been a big club, one that will endure this tough times despite everything thrown at us. I`ve been here since the age of 12 and I plead on Partizan fans to join the campaign and purchase season tickets for themselves and their loved ones”, said Marko Jovanovic.
The most important and direct way fans can help the club is by purchasing season tickets. Jovanovic is aware this is the first and essential step towards fulfillment of the supporter`s desires.
“Partizan fans were never after results. We love our club in good and bad times. I was lucky to play CL with Partizan and I have the same passion now when it comes to helping the club. What really makes me happy is the symbiosis between our interim management - who are working 24/7 on getting our club back on its feet - our coaching team led by club`s legend Savo Milosevic, players and fans, who I find the most important”.
Jovanovic looked back at the previous Partizan restart, taking place in 2007, when many young players, including Jovanovic himself, got the opportunity to play and set basis for a long-term domination of our club.
“I like it as I see the club planning to move in that direction, giving youngsters the opportunity. That`s what boss Milosevic was saying too and you can be assured there`ll be more of our kids in the team from the next winter preps onwards. It proved a winning combination back in 2003 and 2010 when we reached CL group stage led by Partizan academy graduates”, said Marko Jovanovic.
