Seasoned midfielder Bibars Natcho signed for Partizan back in August 2019 and he recently reminded us of conversation he had with the club management upon signing, when he was told team`s dressing room is soon to be renovated as funds for the makeover were already secured. Unfortunately, it never happened.
However, recently appointed new management wanted to restore reputation and credibility of the club and improvement of training conditions was seen as one of the priorities. When Natcho was asked what would be the priority in this department from his personal view, 37-year-old Israeli replied – “If only you could renovate the space first team uses at the Partizan stadium, as we feel like visiting team at our own ground”.
Soon after and with support of sponsors, friends of the club and true Partizan fans, full restrictive part of the stadium has been renovated after 30 years – media zone, access and entry to the stadium, player`s tunnel, all corridors and facilities used by the senior and youth teams as well as visiting teams, including rooms for FA officials and referees, sanitary facilities, medical department and dressing rooms for home and away teams and coaches. Black-and-white colours dominate the above-mentioned areas now and the whole space is fully equipped and functional.
Natcho himself was thrilled when he accessed new dressing rooms and his reaction was quite emotional:
-It`s a great feel to enter into the newly refurbished dressing room. It looked different and kind of special now. I`ve been in Belgrade for more than five years and I wanted to see this makeover from the day one, it finally happened now. It`s fantastic and I believe our new teammates will feel the same as me, as soon as we play our next home game. This is what Partizan is about and we deserve it, Partizan deserves it. From this day on, I hope only the nicest thing will start happening to us and our fans. It`s on our supporters to come down and feel new things at the ground, so we can bring Partizan back where it belongs together”.
FK Partizan would like to express gratitude to sponsors MaxBet and Ktitor who equally supported the reconstruction by donating funds from Partizan v Cukaricki match. Number of other companies helped full premises reconstruction both in donations and equipment – Enmon, Neven Color, Aling Conel, Klaris NS, A+M, Led Lighting and Conmat Agency.
We would particularly like to thank Milicevic Gradnja who engaged in a heavy task of physical reconstruction and finished the job in record time during the winter break, adapting and repairing full premises. They also keep supporting the club in all ongoing infrastructural projects.
