Partizan celebrated its 80th anniversary in style, defeating Vojvodina 1–0 in the 11th round of the Mozzart Bet Superliga.
The winning goal came from Jovan Milosevic, who converted a penalty in the 18th minute after referee Aleksandar Zivkovic awarded the spot-kick following a VAR review that confirmed a foul by Milan Kolarevic on Vanja Dragojevic inside the box.
Just minutes later, another penalty was initially awarded to the home team, but after checking the replay, the referee moved the foul to the edge of the area and showed a straight red card to Sinisa Tanjga in the 29th minute.
Even before the sending-off, Partizan was the more dominant side, but once Vojvodina went down to ten men, the home team completely controlled the match. The Black and Whites kept possession, constantly tested the visitors’ defense, and forced goalkeeper Dragan Rosic into several saves. Despite more than 18 minutes of stoppage time due to pyrotechnics and delays, the score remained 1–0.
This celebratory match also marked a personal milestone for Bibars Natho, who appeared in his 200th league match and 266th overall appearance for Partizan.
