Former Partizan player Zoran Tosic attended FK Partizan matchday studio set for the away game against TSC yesterday. Day earlier, Tosic was guest of CSKA football club for their derby game against Spartak Moscow and he managed to catch a flight to Belgrade to show up at Backa Topola for Partizan match.
“I always underlined Partizan and CSKA are the clubs I love the most, clubs I support and that`s how it`s going to be all my life. I hanged my boots recently so I`m glad I`m going to have more time to be with my beloved Partizan”, said Tosic.
Partizan and CSKA played a friendly during pre-season and Zoran Tosic was part of it, making a cameo appearance for Moscow team for the joy of CSKA fans.
“Unfortunately, Only CSKA sent me an invitation for that friendly. I spent big portion of my career there and they know how to appreciate what I`ve did for the club, so I was really moved by it. But, I only played that game as a CSKA legend; I had no part in as former Partizan player”.
Tosic noticed winds of change around Humska Rd.
“Times are different now, changes are happening and as far as I know there`ll be another friendly between CSKA and Partizan. I hope I can play that one in Partizan shirt. I ended my career recently so I can gain back my form in no time, if needed”.
He also looked back at fantastic atmosphere at Partizan ground for a recent game against Cukaricki, the one he was present at.
“It was a phenomenal show, really lovely. I haven`t been there for ages as I was mostly abroad but, t be honest, I didn`t feel I was too welcome. Now I`m here and I`ll be at the stadium whenever I can. For Cukaricki game, I felt euphoria and charge like in my Partizan playing days, everything around me was trembling, it was like we were playing Man U. I was close to the South stand and I felt that support that wasn`t on such level for years. See you again at the next Partizan game”, said Zoran Tosic.
