FK Partizan Goalkeeper`s Coach Nemanja Jovsic attended new edition of Partizan Interview Show. Former Partizan keeper himself, Jovsic looks after Partizan shot stoppers for almost a decade now and fans have only worlds of praise for Partizan goalies who are very often the brightest spark in the team.
“It`s always a pleasure when you keep a clean sheet but goalless draw is never a good result for Partizan. Our job is to lock everything at the back but it`s equally important what`s going on at the other side of the field as Partizan is a big club, an institution, and always looking to score more than the opposition”, said Nermanja Jovsic.
The 41-year-old worked with many great keeper and he compared Vladimir Stojkovic and Aleksandar Jovanovic for Partizan Interview exclusively.
“What`s similar to both of them are incredible leadership and competitive abilities. They both hate to lose and find it really hard to gasp any defeat or failure. It`s only that their goalkeeping styles differ. We can debate about it but it`s up to what kind of goalkeeping style you like, but it`s clear they are both a treasure to have in your team”.
Jovsic reminded us of great goalkeepers Partizan had over the years and he believes more is to come.
“Over the club`s history, we can boast of such names as Soskic, Curkovic, Pandurovic, Omerovic, Kralj…We were lucky that these goalkeepers were our saviours on many occasions. I hope we`ll have great keepers in the future too. I`ll make sure we have them, to keep this level or raise a bar for us to have as many clean sheets as possible”, said Jovsic.
