Partizan beat Radnicki 1923 2-0 away in a final round of SSL regular season and ahead of 7 rounds of play-off. Loanee forward Milosevic scored a brace for Partizan, his first goals for the club in his second full start.
Unfortunately, this game was marked by serious leg injury suffered by Partizan winger Zubairu who had to be stretched off the field after the half-an-hour mark.
Due to number of injuries, Partizan boss Blagojevic had to shuffle his deck once again – at least centre-back Ilic was in the starting eleven while Filipovic moved to right-back position at the expense of youngster Roganovic. In absence of Scekic and Kovac, youngster Ugresic made a rare start in the centra midfield while Vukotic was deployed in the attacking midfield for Natcho.
Radnicki`s Bevis had two shots over the bar on 7 and 14 respectively while Vukotic missed the target on the other side on 6.
Partizan keeper had to make three saves in two mins – he tipped the ball over the bar after the free-kick shot from Mircetic on 20, followed by two more saves minute later, one from Mircetic and the other from skipper Simovic in the follow-up.
Ugresic replied with a mild effort on 24, comfortably saved by Radnicki keeper while Jovanovic had no trouble saving the shot from Stankovski on 26.
Radnicki had a golden opportunity on 32 after a neat passing play. Bevis was left to finish this fine build-up but keeper Jovanovic was spot on as he dived to move the ball from the feet of Guadeloupe player.
Moments later, everyone was shocked by the serious knee injury suffered by Zubairu who had to be stretched off the field. Goh took after left-wing duties.
On 38, Milosevic missed a great opportunity for Partizan! He met cross from Jurcevic on the far post to dive and head the ball just wide from close range. Same player send a weak low shot inside the box for a comfortable save from Radnicki keeper.
Score was not altered after 6 mins of added time, so it was 0-0 in Kragujevac at half-time
Mircetic was first to threat after the break but his first-touch angled drive on 51 was saved by Jovanovic. Moments later, Jovanovic made another fine save, this time from Bevis.
Kalulu made a fine on 64 but he hit the outside netting from his angled shot. Did he score, there would be a VAR review for possible offside position in the build-up from Congolese winger.
Roganovic came in for Filipovic on 66 alongside Natcho who subbed injured Goh.
Partizan took the lead on 67! Ugresic hit the post from his low edge-of-the-box shot with Milosevic reacting to the rebound to push the ball into the net. Radnicki 0, Partizan 1.
Minute later, Dragojevic sent a long range blast just wide.
Partizan doubled the lead on 74! This time, Milosevic did the job himself, sending the ball into the far corner of the net for a Partizan 2-0 lead.
Boss Blagojevic made two subs on 77 – Milosevic made way for Dusan Jovanovic while Stjepanovic came in for very lively Ugresic.
Jovanovic made another fine save on 79, this one from sub Chinedu while Stjepanovic tested Radnicki keeper with his 20m drive on 82.
Scoreline was unchanged after some four minutes played over the added time for Partizan to cement runners-up spot ahead of the play-off stage.
Partizan is away to leaders Crvena Zvezda next Saturday for a play-off round 1(round 31 overall) of Serbian Super Liga.
