The youth academy of Football Club Partizan has for decades been recognized as one of the best and most productive in Europe, a fact recently confirmed by an extensive study conducted by the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES).
Through an analysis of numerous national championships worldwide, the study determined that players under the age of 21 receive the most playing time precisely at Partizan Stadium in Humska.
As part of the same research, the prestigious Swiss observatory revealed that Partizan defender Nikola Simic ranks first on the list of the best center-backs in the world under the age of 20 across the 46 strongest leagues.
The analysis was based on the average number of successfully dribbled or bypassed opposing players per 90 minutes, where Nikola proved to be unmatched.
“It means a lot when my work and effort are recognized, because I know how much I’ve invested in every training session and match. This recognition confirms that I’m on the right path, but I also know this is just the beginning and that many challenges still await me. It’s a great motivation to keep improving and pushing my limits,” said Nikola Simic.
