Partizan caretaker boss Marko Jovanovic attended festive edition of Partizan Interview show. He spoke about his desires and plans for upcoming year and revealed what Partizan fans can expect in 2025.
“We have to rely on our kids in these turbulent times for the club. It`s a process and I truly believe in them. Of course, Partizan needs foreign imports as well but those who can make a massive difference like Natcho or Zahid. I believe we will get new signings in the year ahead. Personally, I want to prove myself doing my job fully committed to it and to show that in the future I can come back to the position I`m currently holding”, said Marko Jovanovic.
It`s clear situation in Partizan is not an easy one but Jovanovic wanted to send the words of encouragement to Partizan fans.
“You`ve seen it all, the amount of the debt and everything but it`s going to get better. We already work on certain things but Partizan is not doomed, far from it. We have our fans behind us now and there are people around who have immense love for the club and who are ready to help. I`m sure better days are ahead of us. We need patience and to tak it step by step. Nothing can be changed overnight, therefore each and every win us important”.
Marko Jovanovic also spoke about what kind of Partizan he would like to see on the field next year.
“I want us to play better, to show more and not to get on Partizan fan`s nerves too much. I want us to be professional, fully dedicated for fans to recognize team`s desire to battle until the dying moments of the game, like we did away at Radnicki Nis. That`s the main theme – battle and additional quality on the field, something I`m sure we are going to get in the winter transfer window and I`m convinced we`ll be better in 2025 as a result”.
